Truth is Stranger Than Fiction

When I was researching material for the second book in the Nephilim Trilogy, The Unholy Deception, I decided a great premise that would engage the reader and challenge the core belief of Christianity at the same time, would be the "what if," of someone finding the ‘tomb’ of Jesus.

The recent claims by director James Cameron and others that ossuaries discovered more than 26 years ago are that of Jesus of Nazareth and his family, is certainly cause for concern. The media is having the usual orchestrated field day with it - I admit it’s better than listening to another story about Anna Nicole Smith, ad nausea.

As the Apostle Paul penned millennia ago, "If Jesus did not rise from the dead than your faith is in vain and you are the most miserable of men…"

But what is really happening here? Is there an underlying current of something more sinister? I believe there is and here’s why.

There are two areas of attack that have been foisted upon believers in "The Way", which is what Christianity was originally called in the first century.

The first point of attack is to dispute the ‘work’ of the cross. This is the precept that Jesus didn’t die on the cross. That someone else was put there in his place, or that he was hustled off by Joseph of Aramethea, who revived the nearly dead man. Of course this would mean that the Romans, who were very skilled at putting people to death somehow botched this one execution.

The other point of attack is that Jesus was not divine, that he wasn’t really God and man together as one equally.

Invalidate either one and Christianity falls of its own weight.

But there’s something else in play here and it’s what I refer to as a Luciferic agenda / conspiracy.

In Ephesians 6 Paul tells us that we fight not against flesh and blood but with principalities and a host of spiritual beings in heavenly places. In other words the unseen world of the spirit. Lucifer, also referred to as Satan, has an agenda, and it is one of deception.

As a precursor to the great deception that will come upon the earth, he is laying down the first volleys to weaken the one thing that could hinder his plans; Christianity. I believe that one of the first salvos was Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code.

I actually have met those who believe in the premise of the book, which is that Jesus sired a child with Mary Magdelene

Could Cameron and his cronies and the alleged remains of Jesus be used in much the same way? This interview, taken from "The Today Show" with Matt Lauer and Meredith Vierira proves my point. Why is it that these ‘reporters’ are rushing to embrace this?

(This is a portion of an article that ran on the World Net Daily web site.)

Vieira: "And then we have a potentially amazing story. Have we possibly found the tomb of Jesus Christ? You're looking live at the boxes that could have contained the remains of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. They are in an undisclosed location. There's a news conference later today but we're gonna talk to the filmmakers first, here on the Today show about that discovery."

Lauer: "More research needs to be done but if this turns out to be true this changes everything."

Vieira: "Oh it's a huge story, absolutely."

When the segment finally aired, Vieira said, "While the Bible tells the story of Jesus and his resurrection, this box could show physical evidence that he existed, was buried and that he had a son, Judah."

Vieira noted that this was the central claim of Dan Brown's book "The Da Vinci Code" – that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and had a child – which was turned into a movie heavily promoted by the "Today" show.

Vieira concluded the segment telling Cameron, in her interview, the claim is "absolutely fascinating, potentially, I mean, many would argue the biggest story or one of the biggest stories of our lifetime if you are correct."

When I wrote The Unholy Deception, I used the term Great Deception. Although fiction, it is based on my belief that a great deception will take place and that it will affect the worldview of every person on the planet. What stands in the way is Christianity, which is based on Jesus’ resurrection. If the enemy can refute that, he creates a vacuum in which to insert his agenda, the worship of himself as God. Make no mistake that this is happening in real time and the Cameron documentary is another attempt to weaken the faith of millions who believe and those who are sitting on the sidelines.

In my upcoming new book, Politics, Prophecy and the Supernatural: The Coming Great Deception and the Luciferian End Game, published by Anomalous Publishing house, I delve into this dynamic in detail. Let us be on guard for the enemy is cunning…and truth is stranger than fiction!
