Dr. Cristian Negureanu's treatise, The Unknown History of Mankind-The Bodies of Messiah, which appeared in the June 23 UFO Digest, fails not only the testing of the spirits that John discusses in 1 John 4:1 but also fails 14th century William of Ockman's famous lex pasimoniae, or law of parsimony or succinctness. William was a logician and Franciscan Friar who came up with the now famous axiom known as Ockham's Razor that states that with all things being equal the simplest explanation to a problem is the best one.
After dismissing individually the Sumerian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Hittite accounts, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Book of Enoch, the Bible and the Koran, Dr. Negureanu writes that none of these alone "will lead to any coherent explanation concerning the formation of the earth, the origins of the human race, and its role in the universe because these writings interfere one with the other." He advocates a "synthetic approach" to all of them.
Instead of accepting the Bible's version that man was created from the earth by God (Yahweh) in his own image but that man fell to sin in the Garden of Eden and thus Yahweh sent His only begotten Son to redeem mankind, Dr. Negureanu comes up with a complicated, convoluted explanation that would baffle William of Ockham. It sure did set my head spinning. In my estimation, it takes more blind faith to believe his fantasies than it does to believe the Bible.
He writes that 445,000 years ago, the Anunnaki/Elohim Gods came to earth from the planet Nibiru which is ruled by Yahweh and were led by Azazel. They established Eridu, Earth Station 1, south of Mesopotamia in search of gold to protect the atmosphere of their home planet. See my article, Behold Azazel: The Extraterrestrial Fallen Angel, UFO Digest January 3, 2007. These are obviously fallen angels not aliens. Azazel is one for sure according to Jewish lore.
Then 440,000 years ago, Enlil/Jesus came to earth in a spaceship and founded the town of Nippur. He was the brother of Enki. They were both sons of Yahweh. Dr.Negureanu quoted Carl Jung's Psychoanalysis of the Religious Phenomena, where Jung speaks of the doctrine of the two sons of God, the elder of whom was Satanael. This notion that somehow Jesus and Satan are brothers is certainly a part once again of Mormonism but not Christianity.
Dr. Negureanu next digresses into pure fancy when he speaks of these Nibiru spacemen artificially inseminating apes and how these Homo Ninkus Azazelus half breeds were the missing links on the evolutionary scale. They supposedly spread on earth and were tall and were the slaves who built the Great Pyramid. Then, according to Dr. Negureanu, 8000 years ago there supposedly was a second Genesis which followed, he mistakenly said, the Bible account. The Elohim space gods created man from their own genes by cloning in their own image and likeness. He speaks of Noah who escaped the flood in his Ark, but added that Enki saved the giant Azazel like monkey from the flood in a submarine. What?
Dr. Negureanu then speaks of the "palestinan jews", Sarah, and the lost tribes of Israel being helped by the Anunnaki and their spaceship, For sake of argument, there never was a Palestine, only an Israel, and there are no lost tribes. Sorry!
These beings from Nibiru allegedly impregnated human females, the most recent of whom was "Mary, Mother of God". How could this be when he just said that Jesus came in a spaceship? This blasphemy was compounded by stating that she was obviously not a Virgin because she had other children. I agree that the Catholic concept of her continued virginity is mistaken because she had other natural children with Joseph later, but this does not mean that she was impregnated by alien DNA. The Bible clearly states that it was the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18).
All of this talk of the Anunnaki Elohim coming in spaceships from the Planet Nibiru led by Azazel to find gold, creating the missing link of monkey people, artificially inseminating Mary, the creation of earth from the planet Tiamet, the taking of the corpse of Jesus to the "Planet of Gods" in a spaceship, and misquoting Matthew 28:3 as proof, left me swimming in a pool of confusion. It surely violated Ockham's Razor.
Dr. Negureanu then dares to speak of the true body of the Messiah Jesus as a coupling of the spiritual body of Jesus with the physical body of an Elohim/Anunnaki. He supposedly found this out from writings in the Great Pyramid. He quotes Bible verses out of context to try and prove his outlandish case.
Where did Dr. Negureanu come up with all of this convoluted mishmash? I know that he was very impressed by the writings of Zecharia Sitchin and his book The Twelfth Planet. He should have written a science fiction novel instead.
The Apostle John warned us about such things 2000 years ago.
"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God and this is the spirit of the antichrist of which you have heard is coming and now it is already in the world" (1 John 4:1-3).
Dr. Negureanu fails the Spirit of God test miserably. Jesus did not come in a spaceship nor was He created by artificial insemination of Mary by an alien, i.e. fallen angel. He was God in the flesh- not a hybrid of spirituality and angels. And furthermore, He did not have a brother named Satan.
When the Bible speaks of elohim or Gods plural, it is speaking of God the Father and His Son.
"…the Holy One who has ascended into heaven and descended. Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in his garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name or His son's name?" (Proverbs 30:3-4).
Paul clarified this when he wrote about Jesus that:
"He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of creation. For by Him all things were created both in the heavens and on earth…by Him and for Him. And He is before all things and in Him all things hold together" (Colossians 1:15-17).
Paul warned Timothy that
"For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine but wanting instead to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires.; And men will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths" (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
"O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called knowledge (gnosis) which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith" (1 Timothy 6:20-21).
Paul's warning 2000 years ago applies today to Dr. Cristian Negureanu's mythical, Gnostic treatise, The Unknown History of Mankind-The Bodies of Messiah because as Paul cautioned:
"if an angel from heaven (like these Anunnaki/elohim/extraterrestrial fallen angels) should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema, accursed" (Galatians 1:8).
Peter also warned:
"There will be false prophets among you who will secretly introduce destructive heresies…bringing swift destruction upon themselves. And many will follow their sensuality and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned" (2Peter 2:1-2).
Sorry, but the truth of Jesus Christ and His word are not open to interpretation (2Peter 1:20).
Like the Apostle Paul, "I have decided to fight the good fight of faith and make this good confession in the presence of many witnesses" (1 Timothy 6:12).
