My "Convict Conditioning" Progress - Diagonal Split Clutch

Since picking up my copy of "Convict Conditioning 2", I have slowly been integrating the exercises in the new book into my "Convict Conditioning" program. One of the things I was most excited about getting started on was the Human Flag progressions. Not only is it a killer workout for your lateral chain, but it's also one of the coolest things I've ever seen! I am SO looking forward to the day when I can hold a full Human Flag! I started with the Clutch Hold progressions 3 weeks ago, which are the beginner steps that lead up to the full Flag progressions. I began with Step 1, the Clutch Hang, and performed it twice a week. I did 5 sets on each side, starting with a 5 second hold, and adding 1 second per session. Within 3 weeks I had completed the Progression Standard for the Clutch Hang of 10 seconds. I have now moved on to Step 2, the Diagonal Split Clutch, which Al Kavadlo is demonstrating for us in the picture above.

If any of you are working on the Human Flag, drop a comment, or email me and let me know how you're progressing. Maybe we could start a little community right here online. If not, what are you waiting for? Get your copies of  "Convict Conditioning" and "Convict Conditioning 2" today, and GET BUSY!
